With the Songbook Trio I introduce my brand new songs, audaciously reshape what I released in the past 15 years and fearlessly revisit classic & rare tracks by other writers: a setting where the mix of acoustic piano, voice, acoustic & electro colours paints entrancing sonic landscapes. Songs, grooves, storytelling and impro: what it all comes down to is a project that blends different musical styles and times, warm soulful flavors and intimate songwriting.

A collaboration started in 2009, Founda(c)tion is a creative collective of 10 musicians that blends the mighty soul flavour with funk, jazz and rock. FOUNDATION: the foundation of this project are a handful of songs I wrote, arranged with the contribution of the band. The group is made up by some of the top players of the Italian music scene. ACTION: from these songs starts a journey that combines grooves, known riffs (plus fresh new ones) and improvisation, where it’s hard to define genres. Soulful melodies on top of intriguing harmonies, with the beats developing a contagious flow.

A collaboration started in 2010, The Wrong and Right Band is a project by Giovanni Giorgi. Its music merges the worlds of live electronic , the swinging charm and spirit of traditional jazz , spoken words, bebop's freedom of expression: an electroacoustic alchemy beetween jazz, electro and rock in its most modern form. It's a journey during which musical stimulations are created and fully explored in real time. Think of mainstream jazz goin' Soul, Stravinskij and Zappa meeting Miles Davis doin' underground electro noise…and in the middle of it all, a beautiful melody emerges and takes you further on deep into the trip.
